Run Weft on your machine or on your own Cloudflare account.
- Open source (MIT). Nothing leaves your machine by default.
- Local:
npx @celador/weft - Self-hosted:
npx @celador/weft deployruns the gateway as a Worker in your Cloudflare account. - No Weft limit on repos, agents or developers.
Hosted
5,000 events a month free, then $1 per 1,000
We run the gateway. Opt in with npx @celador/weft --hosted. Each space gets the free allowance every month (UTC); you pay only for events above it, billed monthly in arrears through Stripe. You are never charged unless you subscribe.
- An event is one edit, claim, release or checkpoint an agent adds to the log. Heartbeats, reads, checks that pass and everything a human does are free.
- Over the allowance without a subscription, agents keep working uncoordinated and are told so. Nothing is billed.
- Every repo, agent and developer in the space is included.
- See your count:

npx @celador/weft uninstall --space.
Pilot
$500, one time
We set Weft up on your Cloudflare account and support you for 30 days.
- Deployed to your account with
npx @celador/weft deploy. Your code never touches our servers. - Hooks wired for every agent you run, and a live collision on your own repo during setup.
- 30 days of support and a day-30 review. Weft keeps running on your account afterward.
For teams already running several coding agents in parallel.
Questions
Do you charge per developer? No. Hosted is billed on usage, the pilot is a flat $500, and Free costs nothing.
Where does my code go? Local: it stays on your machine. Self-hosted and Pilot: edit events go to a Worker in your Cloudflare account. Hosted: edit events (file paths, diffs, symbol names) go to Weft's gateway on Cloudflare and are kept until you erase the space. Stripe handles the email and card of a paid space; we keep only its customer id. Details in the privacy page.
What if Weft goes down? Agents keep working. After 5 seconds the adapter lets the edit through and tells the agent it was uncoordinated.
Is it open source? Yes, MIT, at github.com/celador/weft. Hosted adds the service, not a different codebase.
Can I move between Free and Hosted? npx @celador/weft use hosted and use local switch the default. Each gateway keeps its own event log, so history stays where it was written.
Who bills me? Stripe, as "Atelier", monthly in arrears, in US dollars.
